Part 1 – Upper Back
We’ll break down flip-grip poses like King Pigeon, Dancer, as well as Hollowback shapes, focusing on shoulder mobility, thoracic extension, and prep work to access these poses with more ease and stability.
Part 2 – Lower & Mid Backbends
We’ll dive into Camel and Wheel Pose, looking at safe technique, creative variations, and transitions. We'll also explore Pincha Scorpion to understand the steps and prep to build toward the shape, even if you're comfortable being upside down yet.
Part 1 – Front Splits
Work on Hanumanasana (traditional front splits), and progress into balancing shapes like Bird of Paradise, Compass, and upside-down split variations.
Part 2 – Middle Splits
Explore Box Splits, Pancake, and Straddle variations. We’ll also look at how to carry those shapes into inversions.
Part 1 – Headstands
Break down Tripod and Traditional Headstand with options for different body types and flexibility levels. We’ll explore variations and how to transition in and out of the pose with control.
Part 2 – Forearm Stand (Pincha)
Learn a step-by-step approach to Pincha Mayurasana, with lots of drills, strength prep, and personal feedback. We’ll explore different entries, how to stabilise, and play with Pincha variations.
You’ll have the chance to film parts of the session for self-practice at home.
