Discover inversions, backbends, splits workshops, focusing on technique and alignment for anyone that wants to develop their practice. Alongside with Special and Advanced Yoga Classes for practitioners.
Workshops are immersive, educational, small group, 2-hour sessions that are designed to help you elevate and enhance your yoga practice in a safe and viable way. We will be focusing on technique, progressions, modifications, and sustainability of some more advanced yoga poses. I will also explain the benefits and contraindications.
While some will choose not to ever pursue more advanced positions, a small group of people see the benefits in developing their practice. If that is something you would like to do, workshops are a good way to approach your practice as often in a group class we have very little time to explore some of the options that are being given. Understanding how to safely enter and exit advanced poses is very important and will help you build your confidence on and off the mat.
Both workshops are suitable for practitioners of all levels
The price per workshop is £40
(non-refundable but transferable if notified 2 days before the workshop)

Sept 26, Saturday 1:00 PM
Camden Town, London
We will be covering on headstand variations, forearm stand, crow, side crow, flying splits and eight angle pose.
There are different ways to approach these poses depending on your body type, strength and flexibility level. We will explore the different methods to find something that works for you and look into drills and exercises that can help you deepen your practice further. For complete beginners we will be focusing on finding your entrance and understanding the foundations, while for people who already have a base we will be exploring variations and transitions.

Oct 24, Saturday, 1:00 PM
Camden Town, London
This workshop will be more focused on poses like splits, bird of paradise, compass, king pigeon, dancer, and wheel. Including variations and transitions.
Flexibility can really vary from one body to another so its important to know how to adapt the poses for us. Everything is accessible but it might look slightly different. Very often people who are hypermobile find this easier but in the same time develop injuries and aches while attempting some deeper variations. Regardless of your flexibility level this workshop will help you build more awareness and deepen your practice.
